MUMBAI: Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman travelled in Mumbai's local from Ghatkopar to
Kalyan and back on Saturday.
Boarding the Badlapur AC fast local at 12.42 pm and opting for the Fast Non AC Local for the return journey at 5.39pm, she engaged with passengers and station staff.
The minister posted the pictures of the travel in local train on her social media account.
Sitharaman was in Mumbai to inaugurate the Birla group run engineering institute BITS Pilani campus in Kalyan.
The photos show her interacting with fellow passengers, engaging in friendly conversations.
